M-grid project documentation: users

The user guide for CSC's Sepeli cluster and the M-grid is still in progress. At the moment, the following documents provide basic information for users:

• Overview, available resources and getting started
• Getting Started with Grid Use in M-grid
• The User Guide at HUT (Partly specific to HUT but mostly relevant to all M-grid clusters.)
• The Sepeli User's Guide (Partly specific to CSC but mostly relevant to all M-grid clusters. The next version of the guide will include more information about M-grid.)
• The Sepeli Cluster
• The Ametisti cluster at University of Helsinki
• Brief instructions on compilers and MPI
• Grid-laskentaa M-gridissä (An article in the @CSC magazine, issue 4/2005, page 11, in Finnish)
• Juha Jäykkä's poster about the cluster in Turku (in Finnish): pdf | OpenOffice
• Grid Monitor (from the NorduGrid web site)
• A Faster Grid Monitor the only polls Finnish resources (Hosted by HIP)

User support is provided by the system administrators at each M-grid site. CSC users are instructed to contact the CSC Helpdesk. You can also join the M-grid discuss mailing list and send questions there.
