




io_read_database
The database structure holds information that is relevant to the entire project rather than on a per reading, per contig or per 'whatever' basis. Among other things it keeps track of the amount of information stored.
io_read_database
io-
Reads the database structure from a specified io number and stores it in a
keyed list. Returns the structure as keyed list when successful, or a blank
string for failure.
io_write_database
io keyed_list_contents- Writes the database structure stored in the keyed_list to a specified io number. Returns 0 for success, -1 for failure.
